ECUATHAI.ORG is the first binational, non-profit organization to help orphaned children in Ecuador and the Kingdom of Thailand.

Children who have lost their parents for different reasons natural disasters such as: Tsunami, floods, earthquakes, mountain breaks, eruption of volcanoes, etc.

ECUATHAI.ORG is a private non-profit organization based in Phuket and now registered as NGO in Geneva -Swiss headquarters of the association.

ECUATHAI.ORG hopes to have the support of eminent companies and individuals in Europe, especially in Switzerland, Ecuador, Thailand and the world.

With headquarters in Switzerland in Geneva, and with committee members based in Thailand and Ecuador respectively, EcuaThai can directly assist on site and directly coordinate the good reception of donations and other.

ECUATHAI.ORG has no formal links and does not receive any funding from any government.

After a few years in the medical industry specialize in Osteopathy, Jorge changed his career to the hospitality and graduated in Hotel Management from the prestigious Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland. After a stint in a management training at Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort, Jorge returned to Switzerland to be involved in organising Expo 02, the International exposition, and then worked for Nestle S.A., the world’s largest food and nutrition company, in the development of Nespresso. Some years later, Jorge was appointed as F&B Director for Kata Group and he also worked for SILK Restaurant at Andara Resort & Villas.

He was then in charge of the opening of Cape Sienna as F&B Sales and Marketing Manager. Jorge then opened his own company, Worldwide Internships Thailand and Events Thailand, with Co-Founder and Partner Simon Samaan the owner of the biggest Media company in Phuket Class Act Media, manage The Phuket News, 89.5 Radio and The Phuket News TV. Events Thailand organises the Asian Hospitality and Travel Show. Internships Thailand is the only professional placement company in the Kingdom of Thailand accredited by the biggest University in the south of Thailand, Prince of Songkla University PSU. Jorge was appointed as consultant in Maikhao Dream Villa and Resort, Phuket, as Acting General Manager and Group Director of Food & Beverage, now he is taking care for his consulting company LHM managing more than 15 properties between Resort, Villas & service apartments, and working in collaboration with more than 50 Resort in the whole Thailand.

Ecuadorian products and culture to Asia:

Jorge open in 2013 Thailand Panama Hats, providing genuine and original TOQUILLA HATS from Ecuador and in the same time supporting the Ecuadorian artisans, placing the product in 5 stars Hotels in Phuket, Krabi, Bangkok, Samui and Chiang Mai. Seen the success of this start up, start since last year also bring another unique product from Ecuador the Vegetable Ivory TAGUA , from the rainforest in Ecuador, a unique product finishing in a nice jewelry, matching perfect during these times with the regulation as there is illegal to import any item containing elephant animal ivory for any commercial purposes.

On 2014 Jorge launch another traditional product from Latin America and very popular in Ecuador “El juego del Sapo” SAPO GAME www.sapogame.asia a fun game to Enjoy with friends and family and have fun while challenging everyone with a coin! Now SAPO expands and started to be commercialize to be place in activities and kids Clubs in Hotels, in bar for entertainment, for team building and also in private families and within friends where they can enjoy a good time during a BBQ.

Carla Soledad Rivera fell in love with Flamenco and began practicing over 20 years ago. Having attended Northeastern Illinois University on a full dance scholarship, Carla explored education, languages, architecture and business management. She holds a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the Illinois Institute of Art-Chicago. Her focus area in Apparel Design and practice in Theatre and dance garments initiated the experimentation, understanding and incorporation of movement into fabric, cut and drape. The result of such kaleidoscopic experiences, lead her to form Soledad Designs in 2005. Since then Carla resides in Bangkok and has created a network of multifaceted projects that merge in sustainable equity existence which include, amongst more to be unveiled: Soledad Designs, Flamenco Thai, Carla’s Cocina, The Vintage Project The HOME BKK and shares her passion for the Creative Arts in the land of smiles.
